LPD Service stops after CVE-2024-38027

I've already 3 different servers (Win2016-Win2022-Win11) that have LPD Service stopping/crashing after applying July Updates with CVE-2024-38027 

Anybody else with same problem? Removing Updates solved the problem but it's not the ideal solution.

From Microsoft Information it is solved now with August Patchday.

Windows Server 2022:

    We are having the same problem on 5 Windows 2016 Servers.

    Solution for us was to uninstall KB5040434.

    Change of the recovery settings for the service did not work.

    We are using LPD for printing from our SAP-Systems.

    Hello,

    I have same issue on 9 windows server 2016 , but I don't want to remove July cumulative patches

    Temporary workaround: in task-scheduler a script every 5 seconds start the LPD services

    Do you know if a bug fix was release ?

    Small typo: it's lpdsvc.dll.

    This workaround fixed my problem as well, the LPD service keeps working, but a solution from Microsoft would be better.
