I've already 3 different servers (Win2016-Win2022-Win11) that have LPD Service stopping/crashing after applying July Updates with CVE-2024-38027

Anybody else with same problem? Removing Updates solved the problem but it's not the ideal solution.

Checked again but not installed. I've temporary worked around setting the flag on the service as stated before (page 2 of this thread), but I've had to set "Restart the Service" on the third combobox (Subsequent failures).

Every minute service is restarting itself

yeah it was the same situation for us , try to revert before the 9th July if possible that's when you can be sure that the cumulative isn't installed.

I tried to uninstall it and i had the same issue.

they did finally provide a rollback package for only 2016 but they will not allow me to share publically at this time. it only removes the security changes that may not have been removed when uninstalling the KB5040434 only. I would suggest asking your MS Case about it.

Currently the updated Cumulative KB is not ready yet for deployment with these parts removed yet.

I am sure it will be soon.
