Is it possible to deploy Azure VM extension for SAP solutions using Azure Policy?

Azure DevOps: Use CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of SAP extensions, integrating with your development processes. Please refer this document Azure DevOps.

Custom Scripts: Use Azure CLI or PowerShell scripts to deploy and configure extensions. You can automate these scripts with Azure Automation. Refer to the Azure PowerShell documentation.

Azure Custom Script Extension: Run scripts on VMs for configuration and installation. Learn more about the Custom Script Extension.

While Azure Policy won’t handle the deployment itself, it can enforce compliance for VM configurations. Use it alongside Azure Automation or scripts for managing SAP extensions

I can't say for definite if the extension you want can be deployed by policy but to deploy something using a policy you can use "deployifnotexist" https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/governance/policy/samples/pattern-deploy-resources

@Anonymous It is definitely possible to deploy VM extensions :)

The question I had was is it possible to install that particular SAP extension.
