Small subset of users receiving "We couldn't sign you in. Please try again." when accessing SharePoint or OneDrive
We use Windows 11 Managed devices that are Entra ID joined. SSO normally works fine for SharePoint and OneDrive related links. However, since about the middle of January, we've received multiple reports of people getting stuck in an authentication loop. They click a OneDrive/SharePoint link, their browser opens, it may cycle through login URLs and then bring the user to a screen that says "Pick an account We couldn't sign you in. Please try again." If they click their account name or key in their info, the process happens again. InPrivate or another browser works fine. Clearing their Cookies and Files fixes the issue, but then it may happen again as quickly as 6 hours later.
This is only happening to a small subset of people out of hundreds, I don't believe we've made any policy changes, and virtually everyone gets the same policies from Intune. Windows Updates are applied automatically every month.
Any thoughts about troubleshooting this and preventing it in the future?
