VS 2022 17.8.1 和 17.8.2 更新后打开一个项目后显示未能正确加载 intellicodecpppackage, 这个问题仅显示一次，关闭后重新打开 VS, 项目可以正常加载。

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

From your description, maybe it’s caused by some cache. You can try to rename/delete the ComponentModelCache folder in C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\17.0_XXXXXXXX directory. After that, please open VS Installer and repair VS 2022(More > Repair).

Since this issue only appeared once on your side, I am thinking this is not a real issue. It seems that the IntelliCodeCppPackage package had been loaded correctly the second time you launched VS. If this error appears again or you get the same or similar issues in the future, please feel free to contact us.

Hello, I delete ComponentModelCache dir and repair now it can work normally now. And I diff my vs2019 and vs2022 ComponentModelCache dir, vs2019 has more Microsoft.VisualStudio.Default.external file than vs2022, what does it do?

The ActivityLog.xml's ERROR is can not find vs-intellicode-models64.servicehub.service.json, but is exist, I will upload this file after 10 hours.

As the name of the folder, the ComponentModelCache folder stores VS component model cache. This is a cache related folder. What files are stored in it relies on what you did in corresponding instance of VS(VS 2019, VS 2022). It’s expected that the files are not the same in VS 2019 ComponentModelCache folder and in VS 2022 ComponentModelCache folder.

Since this folder is a cache folder, it can be removed. Generally, you don’t need to focus on what it stores.

The ActivityLog.xml’s error is cannot find vs-intellicode-models64.servicehub.service.json, but it exists.

Since it works now, if you try to close VS, search for "Developer Command Prompt for Visual Studio 2022" in the Windows Search box, open it and then run devenv /log, open a project, close VS. Navigate to %AppData%\Microsoft\VisualStudio\17.0_XXXXXXXX, open the newly generated ActivityLog.xml file, will you find the same recorded error message?
