Hi @Peter
You can choose to skip this step and activate after the system upgrade completed. Now you need to confirm your activation channel first. Please run Command Prompt as administrator, type:
slmgr /dlv
1.If you are using OEM activation, please run Command Prompt as administrator to obtain the product key, type:
wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey
Then type following two commands to install and activate after the system upgrade completed:
slmgr /ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
slmgr /ato
2.If you are using KMS activation, see the following images:
3.If you are using MAK activation, please try to activate by phone. More information see https://www.microsoft.com/en-sg/Licensing/existing-customer/activation-centers?rtc=1.
Notice: You need to look for the MAK Key by yourself. If it is missing, please purchase a new one.
4.If your activation channel is not one of the above three, you can try to look for the product key on the label or card inside the box that Windows came in. If you’ve lost or can’t find the product key, contact the manufacturer.
Hope it is helpful for you.
Kind regards,
Lei
