Availability zones in US West

I am working on a design for a very large global company migrating to the cloud. Azure was the first choice and they would like to have their primary presence in Northern California. But I'm finding US West does not have any availability zones. This is a real problem! I may need to convert my design over to AWS as they have N. CA zones.. But I see the availability zone is listed as "coming soon" for US West in Azure. Although it appears it's been "coming soon" for quite some time. Is there any definitive date when availability zones will be available in US West? Thank you

    I understand your concern about the availability zones in the US West region. Unfortunately, I don't have an ETA on when availability zones will be available in US West. However, you can consider using the West US 2 or West US 3 region, which already supports availability zones. These regions are also located on the West Coast of the United States and might be a suitable alternative for your design.

    If you still prefer to wait for availability zones in the US West region, I recommend keeping an eye on the Azure updates and announcements for the latest information.
