Hi!
I am looking for a setting for Android with the work profile "allow widgets from work profile apps". I found it on another forum, whereas it is not reflected in reality. I would appreciate your help.

As of sometime in the last month or two (July 2026), this has been added (finally!) in Intune, as a Settings catalog option under Device Restrictions, for Android Enterprise. Set it to False to allow creating Widgets on the Android desktop. I've only been missing this for about 2 years after we moved away from WS1, glad it was finally added!

For this issue, please note that the setting "allow widgets from work profile apps" is found in the device restrictions for the personally-owned work profile. It is not yet available for the Corporate-owned work profile.
